  • My daughter and I have just arrived back from 7 nights in Kalkan, staying at Frank's beautiful apartment. My daughter had stayed there before with her friends, so she recommended it and I was super impressed. Very conveniently located only 5 minute walk into the town and well equipped with everything we needed (the insect repellant spray and the hamper on arrival was very thoughtful and much appreciated), the apartment is spotlessly clean and well organised. Frank was helpful, friendly and responded quickly to any queries, he also organised our transfers which went very smoothly. This was our 5th visit to Kalkan and the last time I was there I was very disappointed with the quality of the villa and lack of view, Hayat didn't disappoint! We've booked again for next year!

  • We have just returned from a fantastic 13 night stay at Hayat Penthouse, booked directly with owner Frank. We are regular visitors to Kalkan and have stayed in several different apartments/ villas and this was the most conveniently sited one, just a short (5 minute) downhill walk into town. The apartment was nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. What particularly stood out was how well equipped the apartment was - an abundance of kitchen ware and glasses, a spare water cooler refill, some good books for holiday reading and even insect repellant was provided. We liaised with Frank prior to our stay to make the booking and he was available to us during our stay in case we had any problems (we didn't- everything went super smoothly). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apartment.

  • The apartment was outstanding. I've never stayed in a rental that was so brilliantly well equipped! It was spotless throughout and very well maintained. Frank sorted a new ironing board out (the one in there was past its best for sure and I appreciate not many people bother to iron so who else would notice!)

  • Wonderful duplex penthouse in fab location just off Kalamar Road. Close to all amenities and a short 10 min walk into town. We know the area well so knew this would be a perfect location for us. The apartment was spotless, very modern and has everything you need (and more....3 TV's) for a lovely relaxing stay in Kalkan. The space is wonderful and the room sizes make it feel more like a villa. The huge roof terrace with plunge pool is probably the star feature for us with amazing views and well equipped for dining and relaxing. The plunge pool isn't huge but perfect for cooling down and the provision of pool/beach towels is a lovely touch. Communication with Frank was great, quick to respond and very helpful. Loved every minute and would definetely stay again.

  • The apartment is fantastic and very well equipped. Everything is clean, neat and tastefully furnished. The view from the terrace is superb and the pool allows you to cool off when it's hot. The rental is in a good location. I would highly recommend it.

  • Amazing apartment, top quality furnishing and equipment. Kalkan town is an amazing dining experience but we really enjoyed our evenings dining in on the terrace with superb views of kalkan town.
    We are already planning our return to this top quality apartment for 2025.

  • Just returned from a 10 night stay at this fabulous penthouse apartment booked through Olive Tree Travel. Seamless 0300hrs entry into the apartment after a late night flight... slept in really comfy beds with lovely pillows and crisp bedding... spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay, books & games to use too! The welcome pack was lovely and provided our breakfast until we could shop on day 1. The water cooler was a godsend, we weren't expecting that so a lovely bonus! The outside terrace is more spacious than it looks, with fabulously padded sun loungers and views to die for across the bay, and the plunge pool is just the right temperature to cool you off! Air conditioning worked really well too. Lovely owner Frank was really helpful with one little request from us so thank you for that Frank :-) There is a great Migros supermarket and a couple of bars/restaurants/coffee stops just a couple of streets away, and Kalkan is an easy 10-15min max stroll into Kalkan centre. We walked back some nights and taxi'd when we felt a little lazy! Such a lovely place to spend time in, we wouldn't hesitate to return!   • Just returned from staying at Hayat. Wow, what can I say, it was just perfect. The apartment was well equipped for a self catering holiday, great attention to detail, everything you could possibly need. The apartment is spacious with lovely furnishings. The outdoor area has plenty of room and the plunge pool is the icing on the cake. Very much needed as the weather, whilst we were there was unseasonably hot, even for Turkey. The location for us was just perfect with the supermarket nearby and a couple of bars/restaurants and the main hub/town and beach a short walk away. The views from the terrace are also lovely and the area is quiet. Already looking for dates next year for a return visit. Communication was also excellent. Would definitely recommend, you wouldn't be disappointed. We will return.

  • Just returned from 8 nights staying at beautiful Hayat Penthouse. We stayed with 2 of our friends and the four of us loved the apartment. Very tastefully done, everything you could wish for and more with a lovely terrace with plunge pool. The location is great, right in the middle of walking down to the harbour or up to the top of Kalamar Road. Great communication with Greg and Zoe, very helpful.   • I would just like to say how lovely it has been staying here at this beautiful villa! From the moment I was recommended this property and got in touch with Greg and Zoe, I knew I was in safe hands!
    They helped with transfers, a welcome food parcel, everything we needed! They have suggested the best excursions, put me in WhatsApp groups to arrange lifts and days out, literally what ever I needed they helped me with!
    The Villa itself is beautiful! Comfortable and homely with a welcoming feeling. Kitted out with everything you need! Not that we needed it but it even had a fire stick in the TV. A beautiful welcoming book let’s you know everything about the Villa, and the views of the bays and the mountains are outstanding in all weathers!
    Everything you need is a short walk from villa, a supermarket, restaurants, cafes and the harbour is only a 10 min stroll away where you get lots to do, markets and great ice cream!
    I highly recommend this!

  • I’ve just returned from a six week stay at Hayat penthouse apartment.
    I’ve stayed at the apartment a number of times now, both in its previous incarnation as Rockola and the now, newly refurbished and renamed Hayat.
    Situated in a quiet, mainly residential area , just off Kalamar Road , it’s perfectly placed to access the main town and the Kalamar area bars and restaurants too. There is a migros supermarket very close by, and Johnnies Cafe and Agora are perfect for a meal if you don’t want to go too far afield.
    The apartment itself is well equipped with modern high quality appliances and tablewear. The new owners Greg and Zoe are keen to make sure their guests have the best experience and are very helpful both before and during ones stay.
    But without doubt the best part of a stay at this apartment is the panoramic view, particularly in the evenings, when the lights start to come on over the mountains and down to the town and harbour. Perfect to enjoy with a glass of something chilled- Very special. 🥂🇹🇷❤️

  • Just returned from an amazing break at Hayat Penthouse. What a place! Stunning views over the mountains and the sea. The owner has thought of literally everything for an amazing stay. The apartment is comfortable and spotlessly clean with a rooftop terrace to relax and enjoy the pool. Close to the town, restaurants and beach, perfect spot. I will be back.

  • Wow, Hayat Penthouse is simply stunning. The views from its huge outdoor terrace over the sea and mountains are so beautiful and relaxing. I really enjoyed taking time out on the terrace reading a book, cooling off in the pool, and having a drink with my friends before we headed out for dinner in the old town and harbour. I really liked the layout too. The bedrooms below the social areas meant people in our group could go to bed earlier or laze in late (like me!) when others were up and about. And it was clean and well equipped, with more crockery and glasses than you could shake a stick at. The town is a short walk away and everyone is so friendly. I had a great time at the beach clubs, boat trip, and the local dunes. I can't wait to go back and stay even longer!
